Mac says this of Nick Cave's latest.If I hadn't heard any other of Nick Cave's albums I'd give "Dig" a 10 without question. On it's own, it's far superior to anything out there this year. However, when you put it into Nick's catalogue, your grade of 8 is probably fairly close -- although I'd still give it 8-9! The tunes are more accessible to the general public but the words are still vintage Nick. Perhaps that's why it's No. 4 on the top 40 this week!

hi, jut found your exellent website,i worked with glenda as a volunteer in an oxfam shop in swansea where she lives (this was the mid 80s) she kept very quiet about her past but the south wales evening post did a feature on her a few years later and published some great pictures of her sitting on a stool, short dress and high high heels! very nice woman but i believe at the time i was working with her that she had some mental health difficulties. great to see her getting some recognition
