The official video for the latest Divine Comedy track, 'An Indie Disco'. One question though, doesn't anybody even show videos on mainstream TV here in the UK anymore? We badly need some new video clip chartshow. There that one ITV used to do, wasn't there? Can't remember the name of it helpfully but let's have it back, yeah?
You know those Teenage Fanclub fellows? Well, they are back with their unique take which never changes on the whole Byrds/Big Star idiom. I haven't started a Fanclub page yet shamefully, but in the meantime, just bask in the glow of those wonderful melodies and harmonies. The track featured is 'Baby Lee' taken from their newly released LP 'Shadows'.
It's only taken him what, 40 years? But yeah, in celebration of former Beach Boy Al Jardine, here is a live-clip showcasing a track from his forthcoming LP, 'Postcard From California'. A couple of old tracks are re-worked for the album along with some new tracks too, of which this is one. There's some on-stage banter to go through first, but it's recommended you do. Al is a great guy and a humble and talented man.
Vintage Clip Of The Month
In tribute to Stevie Wonder who played, sorry, a blinder at Glastonbury. This clip shows a live-take of 'Superstition' filmed for Sesame Street, that wonderful US kids TV shows the entire world seems to have grown up with. Anyway yeah, Sesame Street and it's one brilliant take on the Stevie Wonder classic, the audience and musicians certainly seem to enjoy themselves, anyway.
